Amy Winehouse Original Mixed Media Painting

Amy Winehouse painting by Ben Goymour. This original mixed media work explores one of the most recognisable figures in British music through colour, texture and layered mark making.

Ben builds the portrait through expressive brushwork, splashes, handwritten words and references connected to Amy’s image and music. The work moves between carefully observed detail and looser, more instinctive passages, giving the piece the energy of a modern portrait painting while retaining the physicality of Ben’s mixed media process.

Rather than simply reproducing a familiar likeness, the painting focuses on presence, vulnerability and the visual identity that made Amy Winehouse instantly recognisable.

The painted frame forms part of the composition, allowing colour, texture and marks to continue beyond the central image.

This original Amy Winehouse painting is a one off work by Ben Goymour and is available to buy as original art directly from the artist.
