We had been looking for an artist for quite a while who paints "true to life" scenery paintings. We found this in Ben. Having seen some of his paintings of the Lake District we fell in love Bens style of painting so much so that we have commissioned several painting from him of views near our home in the Lakes and of a red squirrel in our garden. With all these commissions Ben spoke to us to find out exactly what we wanted from the painting and kept us fully informed during their creations. The paintings are all perfect with great detail and colour, capturing the scenes just as we had envisaged. We never tire of looking at the them and have no hesitation in recommending his work to others - we have even bought to give as a present to family members who have displayed them in pride of place in their home. We will be purchasing others from him to add to our collection

I would like to thank Ben for the super service in sending Evening Shores to me so quickly. I received it today and cannot be happier with the quality of the piece. I am passing it onto a family as a gift for a special occasion, i am sure they will be delighted!!

My wife and I were looking for a painting for our home and when we saw Ben's seascapes we both knew one would be perfect.
​
We'd been really impressed with Ben's work we'd seen in a gallery in Stamford and on social media, so decided to ask about a commission.
​
When we contacted Ben he talked us through the options and we were able to discuss aspects of his existing paintings that we really liked.
​
We were blown away by the final painting. It's exactly what we wanted and it sits pride of place in our home.

We are the owners of this, much admired, painting - which has pride of place in our living room. When we gave the commission, we had a video chat with Ben and explained that there were a couple of his seascapes that we, particularly, loved. We asked Ben to incorporate different aspects from both paintings in to ours. Ben kept us up to date by sending us pictures of the ‘work in progress’. The finished painting is stunning and Ben captured the scene perfectly - just as we had envisioned. The detail is excellent and we, particularly, love the depth and warmth of the colours. The beach reminds us of one encountered on our travels - and when we look at it, we can picture ourselves there (a bit of escapism during lockdown!)

We have been admirers of Bens work for some time and was genuinely spoilt for choice over which of the many fabulous pictures to choose from. Having looked at Ben's portfolio we saw a picture of Flamborough Head (Yorkshire coast), which is a place that holds some very special memories for my Wife and I. The picture itself is truly breath taking and as with many of Ben's paintings it has that life-like feel that captures the scene in a way a photograph can never do justice. The colours, depth and texture of the paint give this piece a real sense of place and atmosphere that makes us feel like we are there every time we look at it. We had no option but to place our picture in pride of place in our hallway that ensures every visitor to the house see's it and each and every one of them passes comment! Contacting Ben is a breeze and he always responds quickly and is a delight to deal with in his friendly and approachable way. Will certainly be buying more in the future!

Wow, what a picture! Already being the proud owner of one of Ben's pictures, we were keen to add to our collection. We saw 'Gentle Shores' on Ben's website and instantly fell in love with it. In a rather daring move we purchased it without seeing it in person but as we unwrapped it (after it was kindly delivered by Ben himself) a huge smile came over our faces at the sight of this fantastic piece. It really is a stunner of a painting and words really cannot do it justice. The waves gently lapping on the sand and how the light bounces off the water is just outstanding and you really can feel the warmth of the sea air! This is an usual size for Ben's work (19"x15") but showcases the subject perfectly and really draws you in to look closely at the excellent detail. Another excellent and much loved addition to our home!
